My Vision Statement

My Vision Statement includes two aspects: Inspiration and Direction.

Inspiration: I want to get fitter and lose weight so that I can enjoy the rest of my life with my husband and family. I don't want to spend it in a wheelchair or a hospital bed because of bad habits I just can't let go of. I want to lower my blood sugars to a healthy, normal level. My health is all I have and all that I do to improve my health will help me in the long run. So to be able to enjoy my latter years with my husband, children, grandkids and friends, I'm rethinking my short term goals to include a healthier food intake and a more aggressive exercise program!

Direction: To do this, I will be incorporating short term goals and guidelines as follows:
1: Stay true to my Ketogenic/Low-Carb lifestyle by eating less than 20 net carbs a day.
2: Eating a moderate amount of Protein foods, not excessive, but including eggs and whole meats, that are not processed and also healthy fats.
3: Drinking at least 8 cups of water a day.
4: Eating Veggies that grow above ground, excluding corn, lentils, beans, peas and all grains.
5: Exercising for a minimum of 10 minutes every single day. That is the bare minimum I'll do.
