Baby Steps

I love this app, because I love all of you. Your encouragement and knowledge is what helps motivate me. I took your advice from my previous post, and decided to not expect big changes, but rather take 'baby steps'. I've managed to control my urges, listen to my body, and eat a healthier diet. I've struggle to meet my calorie intake, in the fact I go over, but the fact I'm going over with healthier foods is okay. Once I get comfortable with this I can start working on my calorie intake. I've added a small plank challenge in my day for the past two days, and managed to meet my 10k step goal via my Fitbit. This was prior to doing nothing for exercise for the past two weeks, and usually coming up 2k short of my step goal. So, this blog is a thanks to you. Thank you for encouraging me. Let me know how I can encourage you in your struggles to live a healthy lifestyle. I'd love to give back. Keep on Sparking!

    That is so terrific to read. I'm glad you are starting off slowly and within a doable range for you. By taking it slowly you will be consistent with this. As time goes on you will be able to do more, and you will be able to more results to your liking.

    Remember every day you consistent with the healthy choices you are making, all the better for you, which trickles down to being healthy for your family and so on.

    You can do this, you've done it before, and it's time to focus on you. Wishing you all the success.

    Good for you! So smart to focus first on eating healthier foods, THEN to focus on calorie intake once you feel you've got a good habit going. Those small steps DO add up!

    Absolutely! The first thing is getting adjusted to eating healthy in the first place and finding the healthy foods you like and will continue to eat in the long run. You can do it!
