Day 31 of 2018 (Scale Going Up Bank Account Going Down)

Thursday, February 01, 2018

I"m holding at 253.

Bread hates me but I'm still stubborn.

I struggle to digest proteins. All the foods I need to eat to be able to be nourished won't digest for me. I usually eat something with bread at breakfast. I can't do eggs or fatty meats. I don't drink regular or almond milk. Just not a lot of options.

We've had -80 in our bank account for the entire week. I still have to borrow from my parents.

Both my parents have retired officially.

My parents want my husband and son to find a house with them....and my sister who has a spending problem. Shall I call the reality tv producers now??

I would not mind living with my parents. My sister is living with us currently. But we'd need a big house where we could all spread out and not have to spend all of our time together. My parents are great during visits but living with them has been challenging.

I wish I had money to buy land and build two houses on it but as it is we're broke. My parents don't have a lot either honestly. Maybe we should settle for two mobile homes.

I can't really handle bread either and need to keep it to a minimum, even the gluten free, lower carb, lower calorie stuff.

It's not easy to live today on what jobs pay. All the money goes to the wealthy and nothing trickles down. Everything gets more expensive. Our leaders don't seem to realize that giving rich people more money doesn't help. There is nothing to stop a rich person from providing a job at any time they wanted to. Flawed logic is the rule. People can't live on minimum wage. No one can. The difference between worker pay and executive pay is wider than other successful countries. It's destined to fail. If only a handful of people can afford to buy your products you are going to lose - Henry Ford knew that.

I would have not been able to live with either of my parents. I started out living in a one room house when I was first married and later we bought a cheap trailer. Eventually after my divorce my current hubby and I bought a house that needed some work and was within our means. I'm glad we did. Almost all of our friends are still renting. I feel for you.
