I'm loving my new year....

2018 is better in a NEW way! In the past, I have used sparkpeople to motivate me & keep me accountable. This year my BODY is talking & I am listening. Eating good choices, keeping things heart healthy for the study I am presently participating in & my ability to manually shovel whenever needed in a heavy snow winter is my clue that my body is getting STRONGER. emoticon

Add to that I am lifting weights regularly 3 days a week & sometimes more, increasing my walking speed & for the 1st time in a few months now, I'm seeing a DECREASE on that scale's been a LONG time coming & I'll take it,... emoticon

February will be challenging, managing my healthy January results as I adventure on vacation to places unknown...Question, Sparkies, How do you lose weight on a cruise? Been often, but never mastered that one!!!! emoticon

    OH boy. losing weight on a cruise is a challenge for sure. But take advantage of the gym. Or the pool. As much as possible, plan your meals out. It's not easy with being surrounded by food virtually 24/7!

    Self control on your intake, along with being able to log it down on SparkPeople. Don't forget when you Cheat on your diet, you are cheating your progress. As your doing Great now, I doubt that you want to do that.
