Planning Ahead for a Win

I didn't sleep great last night and yesterday I ate carbs I wasn't planning, so I was a little down this morning. Upon waking, my "depressed" mind wanted to forego going to the gym. Thank the gods for my wonderful husband who said, "You're going to the gym today, right?" When I hesitated, he gave me a great pep talk. All of this is with my permission. He loves me no matter what, but I've asked for his help to remind me during just such a time as this morning. It was just what I needed. So I made it to the gym and did a great workout. Then I came home and cooked for the week. I made portabellas stuffed with ground turkey and cajun tomato sauce, healthy turkey casserole, jicama shrimp and grapefruit salad. Tomorrow I'm going to finish up with butternut squash soup and also spaghetti squash with sauce. Lots of healthy choices to pack for the work week out of town. I burned extra calories washing our dog who somehow found a pile of poo to roll in - uber gross!! Hope you all are having a fun weekend!
