Getting on the Health Band Wagon

Trying to record my progress:
Went to the grocery store and bought all kinds of good thing: some sort of leaf lettuce (they were not marked); iceberg lettuce, carrots, cabbage; bananas, apple and grapefruit. Lots of canned cherries, apple/cherry juice and canned sweet potatoes. Canned was the only option for these. Made sure that nothing had HFCS!!
Planning on using South Beach Diet for the amount of veggies: 4 1/2 cup a day. Phase 2 or 3, not sure which since I will be having fruit.
Will also be substituting some of the veggies with canned since my options are rather slim.
Starting tomorrow. BTW, not trying to lose weight, just trying to live with Gout through diet.
So far bone broth with rice and veggies has worked well so I will continue with it on some days. Cabbage and carrots work also. I have limited my meat to about 1 - 2 oz with some veggies to go with it.
