After years of slightly trending up, my weight is definitely heading down. Since Thanksgiving, I've put off more than 6%.
What is making the difference this time?
Eating more vegetables. I eat 8-10 servings a day.
Almost completely cutting out sugar. I used to have the occasional treat. Ha! Every day had one or more occasions. I loaded the dishwasher. That calls for a peanut butter cup. I made a phone call that I had been putting off. Well, that deserves a brownie. In addition, I had a serious chai latte habit. It's probably only a coincidence that the iconic Seattle-based coffee chain is seeing sales drop.
I feel silly, but I step on the scale. Then I do it again just so I can see numbers that I haven't seen since 2015.
