21 years....

Tuesday, January 23, 2018

Today marked the 21st anniversary of my mom's death but it was a good day. I was up at 6 and out the door for my first walk at 6:40 forgetting to pull my Fitbit from the charger. Put in a full day's work with a mid afternoon walk that my Fitbit didn't calculate and then finished up some leftover meatballs, rice and green beans for supper. Thankfully my Fitbit did calculate my walk tonight so I didn't have to enter that - love it when it works properly & actually is a very rare occurrence when it doesn't! Only one other person seemed to remember but it's ok - it's not something that I expect others to remember because it's not as personal for them as it is for me. The milestones that neither of my parents ever saw, the grandkids they've never met but we're a close family even though many miles are between us now. I finally got some more pictures of my munchy little niece and it makes the distance a lot smaller. Now I'm basically ready for bed, just waiting on the dryer to finish drying and my sopping wet hair to do the same. Yeah right - it will still be wet in the morning if I don't do something so it's time to shut down the computer and go dry my hair while the dryer does it's job as well. Feeling very tired and meandering from one subject to the other. Just feeling talkative when I really should be asleep. Time to shut my fingers off - good night and sweet dreams to anyone who reads this;)
