What A Sunday...

My day started with a wake up to a nose bleed. I have not had a nose bleed in many, many years. I don't know the reason. It was a bit of a fright because I had blood on my pillowcase, a bit on my sheets and a lot all over my face and hand. I hope that it is a fluke. If it continues to happen, I will check with the doctor. I do have sores in my nose occasionally.
I considered staying home from church. But I decided to go. I sat down in my pew. I suddenly received a text from my youngest daughter. Her husband's blood sugar had spiked to 450. At this time, I thought maybe I should have stayed at home. I was over 20 miles from the hospital where she was going to take him. We shared texts and I decided to stay. I was totally distracted from church. My mind was with my family. After church hubby and I decided to have lunch out. We ate a short distance from the hospital. Our son in law was in a hospital room. He agreed that our daughter could come to meet us at the restaurant. We had a good talk over lunch. It seems that son-in-law's blood sugar has been 300 or so all week. It was shocking to him that his resting blood sugar this morning, was 450.
I am praying all will be well. He and my daughter both need to take much better care of their health. Neither are in good health.
If possible, I hope to make it back to the gym tomorrow. It always helps me to de-stress.
