Day 2 Exercise Streak! A New Beginning!

Avoiding exercise over Christmas break carried over into January mainly because when I do marathon grading I can not get motivated to exercise. Friday morning I woke up early and exercised. Hurrah! Feeling inspired to workout is always hard to do, for me, I mean.

Today I went to the produce rescue and came home with all sorts of goodies. I'll post a photo later. Then I met a friend for breakfast. And I was naughty but it was good. I won't be ordering that again anytime soon. What was so bad? 2 eggs ok. 2 slices of bacon- I rarely eat due to sodium but I did pick off the fat mainly cuz I don't like the visible fat on bacon. Biscuits and gravy- I hate to admit it but yes, I ate a biscuit cut in half with gravy on top.

I did track it.

I stopped by a store to get gift cards and bought 3 oranges.

Then went home and was lazy. I deserved it after a tough week with lots of late night grading.
Later, I logged onto the SP message board and became inspired to get up and exercise. Thank goodness for the SP message board!! I love the photos people post of food! And the encouragement. Reading the fitness posts encourages me to join, as Leslie Sansone says, "My sisters [and brothers] in sweat!"

70 minutes of exercise! Good for me. Today cardio. Yesterday, on day 1 of my new streak I did weights. Weather permitting I'll take my bike for a spin tomorrow. I haven't ridden since early December. Hope I don't need to pump tires. We had rain this evening. Good, my plants need water!
