On the Road Again!

I'm out of town until Friday. I went to the gym today before I left town and met with my trainer. She gave me a really good four days straight training plan that I think will be very simple at first. I have noticed that clearly I've lost some ground as far as fitness, but the good news is I know that that doesn't last long. So I'm not going to let that discourage me. Tonight on my way to the Hotel, I ordered something from Panera bread. They have some good healthy options. I've also realized that if I have a very small treat at night with a cup of decaf coffee, it keeps me from feeling the need to binge. Not sure why except maybe it's just the fact that I'm giving myself permission to have something. Anyway they had something called a pastry ring that was only a few bucks and was only 210 cal. I thought that would be pretty good for an evening snack and so I ordered that with my dinner. When I went to pick it up it's actually an entire dessert. I guess it was on special because it's later in the day. So I begin brainstorming what I'm gonna do to be sure I don't need the whole darn thing. Well in the first place I'm not in that mindset so I'm not worried about binging on it. I thought about taking it to the training site tomorrow, But I'm not going to do that. I'm going to challenge myself to keep it in my room and have only a small portion in the evenings. I think it will be good for me since right now I'm in a great frame of mind and it will prove to myself that I can keep control. I let my husband know about it and now I'm letting you guys know about it as well so that it keeps me accountable. Once again I'm not sure what makes the difference between now and just a few weeks ago, but when I'm in control I'm just all in. My other plans for the week or to go to planet fitness while I'm here in town, and follow the plan that I was given. I'm pretty excited about it because I've already noticed just in the past week that my skin is healthier and I feel better. I've also dropped eight of the 10 pounds that I have regained so that feels pretty darn good too.
In other news, the band I was trying to start is looking very promising. I had all the members in place a couple weeks ago and then the lead guitar player got injured and had to drop out. But over the weekend I got a response to my craigslist ad and the guy sounds pretty awesome. So we're going to be rehearsing on Sunday night and I'm really hoping that this is the final piece to that puzzle. I really miss being in a band, particularly a party band and I also enjoy fronting. So I'm pretty excited. Will keep you posted. Oh, and let me know what your favorite song is to hear a party band play.
I GOT THIS.
