2018 here I come!

Well, I haven't been on SP much this past year because I've been working hard. I have a new coaching, speaking and training certificate on my office wall now. We visited the U.S. for four months and, although I found time for a bit of fun, I didn't have time for very many extras. My husband planned our schedule with little downtime. I got to speak a few times and sang once. I had one illness early in December and ended up in the ER with high blood pressure. That was a little frightening but I was told that the first time is not a big concern. So I've been watching it and trying to control stressful situations. That particular week, I'd had very little sleep and a lot of meetings. The added stress was explainable with all the travel, eating out and other places than home, and with trying to accomplish a few extras for and with others.
I did thoroughly enjoy time with family, especially our kids. There were many highlights. I loved finding things in the grocery store that I cannot get in Brazil and the ease of cooking. In fact, it was great to always find what I was looking for whether it be food, clothes, or other things to bring back with us.
So for 2018, I have thought carefully about what I should be doing for my health. I still need to lose weight so, now that we are home, I will restart my exercising and already have better control of my vegan meals. Sleep has improved most nights too.
Wishing you a healthy and prosperous 2018!
