Well, I can't have a blog about Henley, and leave Miss Alice out. Her birthday is today. She came to us at 8 weeks, and she already knew how to give us her paw. She was one smart dog. She would help my Hubby dig up the weeds in the garden. She helped us carry the hose around the yard. She was only a year older then Henley, but yet seemed so much wiser. We called her Old Mother Hubbard. She would help take care of Henley when we first brought him home, and throughout his growing period. Alice loved car rides. No matter where we went, it was an adventure for her. She just sat like a lady, and looked out the window. She didn't care if Sarge took up most of the back seat, she had a window seat. The best seat of all.
How she loved it when we went hiking.
She was our beautiful girl, and she knew it. When we went to Starbucks the girls that worked there always made a fuss over her/ "Oh, she is so pretty" Alice would put her nose in the air and look away. She had a look on her face..."yes I am" lol. Pure joy, Alice was.
