January 7, 2018 PRACTICE FAITH

Many gadgets we use in this world today are here because someone had faith. They believed in something that wasn’t yet created. They had faith their idea was going to turn into something that would be helpful to the world. Believing something before we actually see it or experience it is called faith. It is easy to believe in something we see or something we have done before. However, we are called by God to believe in Him and His promises even though we have never seen Him and have not experienced all of His promises. When we practice faith, we remember daily God is all we need.

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” (NIV)

1. Write about your faith in God.
2. List the things you have turned over to Him.
3. Know you are called to put your faith and hope in God.
4. Begin practicing today and know God will always be with you.

Dear Lord, it is so hard for us to understand we can believe in something we cannot see. However, You are an example of why we need faith. Help us to put our faith and confidence in You today. Help us to remember You are all we need. Help us to practice faith daily in our lives believing You will take care of us, give us what we need, and help us find our purpose in life. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When we practice having faith in God, we will have peace about the difficult situations in life.

When we practice having faith in God, we will not worry about the things most people worry about.

When we practice having faith in God, we know God will follow through on all His promises.

When we practice having faith in God, we will be able to share God’s word knowing God will help us.

When we practice having faith in God, we will know we can pray and ask for something believing God will answer.

Mark 11:24 “For this reason I tell you: When you pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask for.” (GNT)

When we have faith in God, we are living in obedience to Him.
