Blog 6 - Natural Icing

Thank you Mother Nature for icing my muscles for me with this cold weather. I really needed it tonight! They say to alternate cold and hot on sore muscles...well walking out of the gym covered the cold part!!!!
I did arms again tonight and I didn't phone it in like on Wednesday. Oh my are my arms tired! I upped the weight and lowered the reps. I think that worked better for me. I started with my 20 minutes on the elliptical and of course ended up doubling my time on the bike watching tv again. I only did hills for the first half and took it easy after that.
I did pretty good with food today other than a slip up at dinner. My family had potato wedges. I chose veggies instead with my chicken but ended up sampling about 7 wedges. I tracked them though and ended up right at the high end for my calories.
Tomorrow morning I weigh in for the start of the winter 5% challenge. I'm proud to be on the Weight Warriors team! I hope to make lots of friends and stay motivated.
I hear my post workout apple calling my name. Night Sparkers!!!!
