I need a new job.

Thursday, January 04, 2018

Brainstorm ideas for jobs I could do from home. I really wanna work from home! I'm so sick of someone I currently work with that it makes the job I have awful... and I don't get paid enough to take his crap any more. He makes "jokes" about having to put up with me and my deputy clerk and needing a clerk search going, and other asinine things he thinks is funny. I don't like it, but I can take it. I poke right back at him, but today, he reverted to the actions of a two year old over a stupid pen. I want to be done with him. It really irks me because otherwise this job ain't that bad, ugh. Such an ass, he is. Want to work with him further, I don't.

There’s always that one person! I have worked with those types and I hated it! Check amazon. Sometimes they have positions that can be done at home. A friend of mine did that for a while and was really happy with it. So sorry you are dealing with such a jerk!

That totally sucks! Sorry I don't have any suggestions except for maybe a teacher's assistant?? BJAEGER307 has a good suggestion though. Is there something you can make that you could sell and turn into a business??

People like that guy just makes your life miserable especially when you have to deal with him all day long. Bonnie had some good suggestions too.

Wishing you lots of luck!! emoticon emoticon

Hey, I just thought of something.....try looking on Craigslist of jobs available in your area. Who knows, maybe you'll find something you like or could do.

    Catapult him into the sun?

Or, a little harder, go through HR instead of changing jobs? Can you be physically moved to a different space?

My niece started a new hobby that she turned into a hugely successful business. She started by teaching herself to weave. She makes wraps to carry your baby on you. She weaves the cloth and makes the wraps and sells online. I was thinking of getting one for someone and asked about it since they are so incredibly beautiful. Found out the START at $2500 and go up from there. Gulp, maybe I'll find something less expensive. You never know what will turn out to be your goldmine. Have faith in yourself and take a chance on doing something you love.

Sorry for the stress and annoyance of a miserable coworker. As far as working at home, what kinds of skills do you have that you could do? Are you a crafter or seamstress or knitter, carpenter, baker, cook, etc.? Maybe if you wanted to babysit, or provide despite care for a young child or an elderly person.

For now though, I wish you peace, serenity, and especially something wonderful will happen.

I wish I had an idea for you. I have a friend that works from home as a phone psychic. I'm guessing that's not what you are looking for though.

I had the same thing years ago when I was 21 and he made my life miserable. Find another job somehow my friend as believe me it is worth it. I got out and it was worth it as you spend a lot of time at work. Hugs
