January Goals
Thursday, January 04, 2018
In my last blog I talked about my goals for 2018 overall. However, to get to these goals I need small mini goals so I decided I would do monthly goals like I have done in the past.
Here are my goals for January 2018:

Goal #1: Log all my food

Goal #2: Fit in ME time and ensure I get my workouts in - This one is hard during these months due to gymnastics meets and wresting meets. But I am going to make sure I fit it in!

Goal #3: Make sure the house is picked up before I go to bed - Having a messy house stresses me out. So doing a little picking up before heading to bed will help ease my stress. It only takes a few minutes to put things away, wash dishes, etc...

Goal #4: Start looking for races/walks/rides to participate in 2018. I already got a jump start on this goal and found some great races I want to sign up for in 2018. Most of these the sign ups are not up and running yet. But I have my list ready! Here are a few I am going to do:
May 5: Jump to it 10k
June 3: Hope In Motion 5k (This race is to honor the survivors of cancer. The money raised goes to the Angel Fund helping families cope with cancer.)
June 23: Get your Rear in Gear (Another race for colon cancer in Rochester, MN)
July 15-19: Tour De Minnesota (MS Tram! I did this last year and LOVED it so I already signed up for it again this year.)
Sept. 10: Tour De Tush Bike Ride (Another ride to support and raise awareness of colon cancer)
As you can see most of these races revolve around colon cancer which is what my husband is fighting right now. I am going to dedicate each race to him!
I think these four goals will help me make a great start to my overall 2018 goals! I will post at the end of the month how I do and then make new goals for February.
How about you?.... Does setting smaller goals help you achieve your bigger overall goals?
