Cindy, there are so many items at home that can be used for exercise, which is great, especially if you aren't a people person. For example, laundry jugs with handles are great as a kettlebell substitute. Dancing around to your favorite music is very aerobic. But if you feel having other people around while you exercise would be motivational, then go for the gym experience. Everybody has to find what works best for them. 943 days ago
60% of people who sign up for a gym membership never go again one time but continue to pay the monthly contract dues. (I read this fact.)
Think about working out at HOME first. Use the Art of KaiZen. It works like this. Set a timer for ONE MINUTE. Then start. When it goes off you can quit and say "I did my exercise.". The next day set it for ONE MINUTE and do it at the same time of day. Again you can QUIT after one minute and say "I did my exercise."
This can be used for anything, getting a kid to play a piano, etc. Just keep doing each day for ONE MINUTE. IF you want to do more you can, but that is completely up to you, but you do the ONE MINUTE.
Look it up on GOOGLE and read more. 947 days ago
