FitBits and Sparkpeople

I just got my 2nd replacement FitBit One after the other dying on December 24th.

Looking around the Sparkpeople website and knowing what tech I have available on my side it looks like I'm pretty much stuck with the brand for a while. I don't have cell reception at my house or good internet so a fitness tracker that can be used offline and then connected periodically (I prefer to do it in the morning) is the route I need to stick with.

On another note I love that this FitBit tracks stairs but I'm frustrated that I can't seem to record those stairs in Sparkpeople. Does anyone know how/where to do this?

    I wish there were a good way to track stairs on Spark, too. The best I've figured out is linking my FitBit to my SparkPeople account so it counts stairs in my fitness minutes and calorie estimates.

    Sorry, can't help with stairs. I just like keeping steps and tracking food and minutes of exercise.

    That's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for that fact that over the course of the day I go UP maybe 12-20 flights of stairs. Not all at once but 4 here, 4 there. 1 there... etc. so I'm not sure that tracking that "stairclimbing machine" thing is the same.

    If you go to the "my fitness" tab under the tab "my trackers" you can search "stairs" and then enter the time you spent doing that exercise. I hope this helps. Keep up the good work!
