A cold blast that is! It has been in the teens the last couple days here in the southern part of Virginia, and though better than Connecticut and Massachusetts, my body can tell it is cold. TOO COLD! My brain wants the rest of me to move further south. Then in the summer I will be TOO HOT! At least we only had a dusting of snow a few weeks ago.
2018 is here. I did my yoga physical therapy workout yesterday morning 42 minutes, and this morning about 20 minutes. Not sleeping the best, I hate having the heat blasting. Even though I have it set pretty low. I keep lowering it, then I get chilled. I wear sweaters and a blanket while working during the day, and a blanket and a lap cat in the evening, though the comforter on our bed is awesomely warm.
I FINISHED Physical Therapy on December 28, and have been released. Now the hard work begins, because now I have to stay self motivated to do it.
But, I am now entitled to their wellness program at $20 per month - I get to use the NuStep machine or the bike, or a couple other things, as long as there are no patience using them at the time. I aimed to go today, but it is just too cold for me to head out there.
The other thing, I received a scholarship to participate in an online boot camp to keep my motivation going! This is so exciting. I used this service back in 2010 -2011 when I lost a lot of weight, although their prices went up a lot. I am grateful.
I am putting into practice I Thessalonians 5:16-18 - basically (in my own words) Rejoice always, give thanks in all things, and pray without ceasing. LIVE JOYFULLY~
There are always lots of things that can get in the way of keeping a positive mindset - health, finances, family, job or lack of. Stay focused, stay positive, live joyfully, live thankfully, and keep on praying about everything.
Each day has its own stuff to deal with. Next week there are some family health struggles that are a little scary. I am continuing to pray about that, and will share more later. Today is a day for living positively.
God's blessings in 2018
