New Year, New You

Resolutions - many are being made only to be broken before January is done. For me, I am continuing my journey. I had a few stumbles in December...the holidays and then getting stomach flu to be followed a week later with influenza A does not lend itself to weight lost. Needless to say my treadmill and elliptical were wondering what happened as I did not have the energy to work out for nearly 3 weeks. The good news is I did lose 4.4 pounds for the month bringing my total weight loss since mid-September to 27.8 pounds. My goal weight is only 37.2 pounds away.
The plan this month is to lose 9.25 pounds by doing the following:
(1) Run 3 times a week
(2) PIYO 6 days a week
(3) Stick to profile diet - no more cheats the holidays are done! Although I plan on a very small piece of birthday cake at my granddaughter's birthday party.
(1) 2 pounds away from snow shoes (I skipped them at last goal level & bought clearanced work out clothing. Can we say Yeah to $1 tanks & $1 shorts?)
(2) 7 pounds away from Schuler Shoes trip.
How am I going to motivate myself further? I am planning a trip for mid-April in sunny Florida. My husband wants to lay on the beach and get a tan. I want to feel much better about myself than I did on the beach this past September in California. When I feel the need to stray, I'm going to think about how I will feel knowing I succeeded in improving myself.
