It's pretty well understood that if you don't have goals, you can't achieve them. If you don't know where you want to be, you'll never get there. So, with that, I intend to clarify some goals and objectives for 2018.

I'm going to break them up into categories:

Health & Fitness:
1. Get down to a size 6 jeans
2. Run a 5k

Steps to achieve these goals:
- Follow my workout routine consistently
- Make healthy food choices 90% of the time
- Choose activity! Get up and move!

Personal Growth:
1. Continue to develop acrylic painting skills so eventually I can sell paintings at local art festivals or farmers' markets
Steps to achieve these goals:
- Complete at least one canvas painting per month
- Complete at least 3 practice paintings in watercolor pad
- Visit at least 3 galleries this year, more if possible
- Watch 2-3 YouTube tutorials each month

1. Be "unflappable" at work - don't let drama impact my peace
Steps to achieve these goals:
- Practice patience with less mature co-workers
- Ask yourself: "Does this have any impact on me unless I allow it?" If not, then let it go.
- Practice leadership skills and lead by example
- Focus strongly on your own work product to let the extraneous drift away into unimportant background noise

This is what I have for now, but I think it's plenty! I feel I've come up with a challenging, yet achievable set of goals. Here's to 2018, my year for conscious change and growth! Cheers!
