2017 recap

Sunday, December 31, 2017

2017 was a life changing year. Had a hysterectomy in July after pre-cancer was found. The surgery was rescheduled after a cardiologist and my doctor paused it during surgery pre-clearances. I am so glad they did. In that month, I cleaned up my eating habits and lost 15 pounds before the surgery; had a cleaner liver, pancreas, and clearer lungs. I continued to lose weight after the surgery and am now 54 pounds lighter. My weight loss has stalled, temporarily, but I will return to the clean eating and resume this journey. Finally, less than 200 pounds after so many years, I am looking forward to 2018!
