This is our assignment for the Aspire and Inspire sparkteam: Blog about working on your struggle this month, how did it go? Did you learn anything helpful about you or your struggle to help you in the future? Blog about your plans for the coming year! Do you have a plan B?? How do you plan to handle setbacks?

The struggle I was working on this month was regular exercise. I have been trying to exercise at least ten minutes a day, but I haven’t been consistent. The best I did this month was a nine-day streak December 14th – 22nd. Right now I’m on a three-day streak, including today. One way I plan to improve on this is by trying to exercise in the morning. Later in the day I often feel tired and don’t want to exercise. I think I would be more likely to get it done if I exercise in the morning.

    I was thinking about exercising when I wake. I'm with you in thinking I'll do better. I hate craming it in right before bed. Good luck to you! If Plan A doesn't work, there are 26 letters in the alphabet. The important thing is we try something new until we find what works. emoticon

    I completely agree with you about exercising in the morning. I like to exercise right after breakfast or shortly thereafter. I find that if I don't do it then, I probably will not do it all. I know I usually feel much better for the rest of the day when I do. I feel certain you can/will continue your 10 minute exercise streak this coming month/year! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    I always did better when I exercised before getting dressed for the day. I got out of the habit and now try to get it done in bits and pieces. Good luck to you.

    I absolutely agree with you about exercising in the morning. For me, it’s a great way to start off the day and then I have more energy and positivity for what’s ahead. I know you did the 100 days of walking a mile previously, so I am confident you can continue your 10 minute streak this time! emoticon emoticon

    You are right on with morning exercise. It is much easier to get done in the day when done right away. If I wait until later I feal like you. I do not want to do it. emoticon
