Xmas Daily Self Challenge #10

Summary Goal #9 : emoticon but emoticon So I saw the doc; got a diagnosis; and she sent my prescriptions directly to the pharmacy. And OF COURSE I went directly to the pharmacy -- which had received only one of 2 prescriptions. I didn't get my badly needed cough syrup! The clinic had closed for the night... Despite taking all my other meds, I must say it was a miserable night for me. I'm waiting until 9 to call the health clinic and chase down my prescription so I can fill it....

While I did no decorating of the bedrooms, I did get decorated the front entry outside, the living room, the dining room, the sunroom, the bar, and the hall. At least, there's a little something Xmassy in those rooms! And I got all the empty boxes put away. It isn't the explosion I wanted for the grandkids' sake, but it is all I could do. Besides, we have plenty of hot cocoa with mini-marshmallows, and fresh snow...what could be better than that?

Plan #10: GET MY COUGH SYRUP! Stay FAR AWAY from my guests! Oh, I was diagnosed with viral bronchitis, told it was highly contagious, And told I'd be sick for another 4-6 weeks -- if all goes well! Oy! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon I've already passed off most of my responsibilities (cooking and pet care) in an effort to not spread these germs. Now I'm going to have to maintain my distance from the festivities. emoticon
I wonder if DH will manage to handle responsibilities himself or if the Xmas cheer will remain in place until I'm well again. But that's it, folks! No more plans except for suffering through and getting well.

I am so blessed with my health as stable as it is! But then I don't have family kids esp to give me bugs or to keep distant from for their sake. Praying for your health, for taking good care of you, for wisdom in food and drink and rest.
