Something New (To Me, Anyway)

Thanks for the helpful comments on my weeding blog yesterday. I'm feeling better about "weeding", even if I don't get to the "root".
Today I want to let you know about something new to me. Maybe you eat it all the time, but I found a new (to me) veggie at the produce stand that pops up each Tuesday at the YMCA. After Aquagirl and I did the Silver Sneakers class, I bought some organic unwaxed pink lady apples that are delicious. But the new veggies is -- ta da: tatsoi. The person who grew it described it as a cross between bok choy and spinach. I had some in a salad last eve and some in an omelet this morning. Very nice! (Not my photo - but mine looks just like these.)
I love to find new things that are good and healthy! Going back to the Y shortly. Think I'll do a combined treadmill/outside run. There are advantages to each. A lovely park and running area near the Y has a boardwalk over the edge of a heavily wooded area by the lake. Looking forward to it!!
