Baking Spirits Bright!!!

Tuesday, December 19, 2017

Just made two kinds of cookies tonight. Tried a new recipe from a cake mix. letting them cool. emoticon Suppose to be snickerdoodles, but don't know about how they look . . .

Service went well on Sunday. Spoke about the 'light of the world.' Sunday evening met with brothers and their wives for a family dinner. Found out one of my younger brothers is having some difficulty with his heart. He had two stents put in a few years ago and now something new that has developed.

A good friend was told last week that she has an aortic aneurysm. She is going for more tests tomorrow. She says she has peace about it.

Planning to do more baking tomorrow and finalizing my grocery list for this weekend. Have very little gift wrapping done.

Good night to All! emoticon

I finally had to enlist DH's help on the wrapping (and then I didn't LOOK too close at what he was doing...for my OWN peace of mind!)

An aortic aneurysm is a really big deal requiring surgery. She'll be fine if they found it early.

I am totally done, shopping, wrapping, decorating, baking (except they have already eaten all the chocolate chip cookies so may have to make another batch lol) christmas cards are sent. I am probably forgetting something but for now, I feel ready. Merry Christmas.
