Holding Pattern for the Holidays

I have been writing down everything that I put in my mouth these days.
The notes are kept in a tiny notebook in my purse.
(I felt it was less of a problem to record with paper and pencil -- especially when I was in company. Writing it on my phone could make me look very rude -- checking email or something else - while others are around.)
So while I have been recording everything I eat, I have not tracked the calories.
Several days - especially during these holidays - I am sure I go over the limit.
Also, I am still walking 2 or 3 miles most days.
I have not lost weight.
And I have not gained weight.
I am enjoying the holidays - along with all the food that goes with it. I am just being more careful and eating less of it.
For me this is a real win!
