2018 Winter 5% Challenge Invitation

This is your invitation! Are you looking for a way to get fit, lose weight, and have fun along the way? Check out the 2018 Winter 5% Challenge! Team members will work towards losing 5% of their starting weight in 8 weeks by participating in team challenges that focus on exercise & healthy lifestyle habits. For the first time, I joined a 5% seasonal challenge here on SP by joining the 2017 Fall 5% Challenge. It ended a week or so ago. I met my goal!!! I lost 5% of my weight. I have been holding steady since then. I still have a a week and a half to meet my personal goal of 162 (or 161 if I'm really motivated) before Christmas.

I highly recommend this challenge. The challenge is 8 weeks, I believe. It targets a skill we all need to work on each week besides tracking fitness. Examples of weekly goals include drinking 8 cups of water, tracking food, getting in veggies, or decluttering, etc.

Consider joining now. (Go to the link above). The actual challenge will not begin until after Christmas and New Year's. Don't let this holiday season be a free-for-all. Begin preparing yourself for this challenge and work hard to stay in control no matter what assortment of goodies is placed within your grasp!

Go ahead and eat but track! You might go over 100 or 200 calories but don't let your binge monster have free reign! Make this a Christmas to remember!

A holiday is not a pass to eat all you want, when you want, of how much you want. Those days are gone. It's time to act like the adult you are instead of a starry eyed kid in a candy store.

Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. (I don't mean Twiggy or Kate Moss skinny . I mean normal BMI "skinny". I mean I have 25 pounds to go, give or take, but I feel skinny compared to where I was.)

Join the challenge. Eight weeks from Jan. 6, you will be glad you did!
