Daily Xmas Self-Challenge #2
Wednesday, December 13, 2017
Well, I managed to wrap 15 gifts yesterday -- and I felt so VERY accomplished!
Only what, another 50 to go? Who's counting? We'll know when I'm done! What's that, you say? Yes, really! There's so many because I'm the mom! The mom who is responsible for finding and buying all those little things that you must find boxes and bags for and wrap them ALL up individually (O.K., I cheat! Sometimes I just roll a thing in tissue paper and put a bunch of those things in a big box and wrap the box. Sometimes I just can't stand to do it anymore! There's so much to be done this year!)
My challenge for today: lead exercise class; clean up; meet friends for lunch; relax; and go tour the Governor's Mansion, decorated for the holidays. And that didn't happen -- they are closed today!
So I did the grocery shopping instead, and met DD and DH for a very late lunch. No rest for the weary!
And rescheduled the tour for Friday.
And I'm absolutely worn out since the moment I woke up. Wisdom says get up and unpack the holiday ornaments in preparation for tomorrow's buying the Xmas tree and subsequent decoration; reality says I'll be lucky to make it upstairs without stumbling and tumbling!
