Low-Carb Day 3, Easier Than Expected (So Far)

First, I'd like to say thank you to everyone for the warm welcomes I got in comments to my first post.
The transition to a low carb diet has been easier than I thought it would be so far, even though I'm only a few days in. I'm noticing that I'm less hungry and, really, there's more low-/no-carb options available than I thought there would be.
While my reasons for doing this are medical, I'm already talking to my wife about her starting on this diet as well*. Not only would she be getting healthier but there would be less high-carb foods in the house trying to tempt me. Win-win! Haha.
Anyway, I weighed myself today and found that I'm down 3.5 lbs from early last week to 201.5. Since I've only been on this diet for a few days I'm hesitant to give it any credit, especially since I was trying to watch what I ate a couple weeks before my doctor recommended this diet. I'm actually down 9.5 lbs since I started watching my intake more almost a month ago so yay!
* "After Christmas" is the plan. 👍
