Today, we broke the temperature record for December 4th in Milwaukee, WI. Today's high was 65 degrees (last year on this day it was 6o degrees). What's up w/ that??
Growing up through the years, this time of year there was usually snow on the ground (1st snowfall was usually around the end of November, early December) w/ temps in the 20's - 30's. These past few years we have had relatively mild winters w/ little snow.
It's weird because everyone is geared up for the 'big' one (snow / ice storm) with snow shovels, ice scrapers, snow brushes, hats / gloves / scarves / snow boots, etc. in their cars. Yet, the weather sits between 40 - 65+ degrees outside... Mostly cloudy w/ little sunshine. Tonight we had a rain shower.
I'm dreading the day we get a major ice / snow storm.
