Traveling to visit my friend in the hospital was supposed to be an hour drive, but due to road construction turned into a 1 1/2 hour trip.
Because the lunch hour rolled around while on the road, we (another friend & I) stopped @ McDonalds for lunch. I ordered a grilled chicken snack wrap, medium fries & a sweet iced tea. The snack wrap & tea filled me up. The fries got kicked to the curb. (actually I gave them to my friend who was more than happy to take them.)
I'm not sure why, but I think the lack of fries has something to do with me subconsciously calculating calories, carbs, fat, protein, & fiber in the back of my mind & how much exercise it would take to burn off the calories.
The reason doesn't really matter, what matters is that I did it... I ate a relatively healthy meal @ a fast food restaurant & don't feel guilty about what I ate.
