DAY OFF- Maybe...

When I take a day off from exercising I am still getting in my daily goal steps but not active (10) minutes. At least not intentional active minutes. My intentional active minutes are done on my treadmill which sits silent on those days. I’ve already walked my treadmill enough that it’s absence is definitely noticed!
It’s not that I wanted to take off the day just to have a rest, no. This morning I awoke with the calf on both legs feeling tight and swollen. I didn’t think I had over exercised, but could have, I guess. To be on the safe side I decided to lay low on the treadmill. I mean, I only walk at 1.5 mph for at least 10 or 20 minutes daily.
This is new to me and I’m feeling my way through this. After all my doctor did say, “Go ahead and exercise as much as you want. You know the limitations. Just don’t overdo it. See you in two years.”
