I love that you mention processed cheese products... Velveeta melts wonderfully and tastes great, but it has 400+ gm of sodium, before you even consider phosphorus or potassium !
Real Swiss cheese has 70 mg sodium, about 161 mg of phosphorus or 17% of the RDA for a 2000 calorie diet... and as we all know, keeping servings appropriately sized is key... I forgot to look at at the data base for potassium
Having a fibromyalgia day, so I'm going to work on that for a while... means I have to get off the computer LOL But just for a while...
