It's time to count my blessings

Monday, November 20, 2017

I've been writing this to friends. "I'm embarrassed to tell you I broke my arm a few days ago.". I shouldn't be embarrassed. Things happen.. not usually days after breast cancer surgery. The positive attitude I was told would help did. I think of others going through worse things. Blessings: 2 very supportive daughters and son in laws I have some pain spikes.. but savour the calm. I am strong! Thanksgiving is approaching..I won't be asked to cook a thing. I will be VERY thankful.

So..I must have chemo brain. I keep forgetting everything and nothing is holding my interest. 2 weeks down. 10 more to go of the cancer pill. Unfortunately it is in my bones. Trying to keep a positive attitude...and outside of a few times I have. Hugs.

No you shouldn't be embarrassed at all. These things happen, as you said. So sorry it has happened to you, especially with dealing with cancer. How is going with you on that front? I have tried to contact you several times and would love to hear from you. Really concerned and hope your prognosis is good! Take care and be careful. Don't want any more mishaps. emoticon
