This morning's weigh in was a disappointment, having gained 1# back. Even though I had 2 food events, the rest of the week's food choices were stellar, and so I am surprised by the number on the scale. Boohoo.
Done. Cry is over. Time to move on and get back to work. With Thanksgiving this week, I'm a little worried about the upcoming weigh in on Saturday. Oh boy. I guess I will find out just how bad I want to maintain my 5% weight loss for this challenge.
Got food porn taping all day today (my lingo for food network shows). Clearly, I'm going through a phase right now that challenges me. All kidding aside, I like watching the food networks before the holidays to pick up new ideas. I always learn something that helps me in the kitchen. I think I have about 15 shows taping. I can be a bit excessive.
Come to think of it, I think I have a problem with over collecting cookbooks. I am especially attracted to the ones that have full color pictures on each page. I buy them because I love to eat, not because I cook for a hobby. I guess that's the better alternative, but truly I might benefit from a 12 step program that deals with my cookbook buying problem.
Glad it will be in the 40s today....I am going for a walk today.
