I Feel Like Charlie Brown: ARRRRRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!

I am in my temporary home, but my room is very difficult to walk through. If I absolutely had to find something, I'd be in trouble. But I can say that I am sleeping better despite the weird vivid dreams I've been having.
Two days were spent at my oldest daughter's house - the one I just moved from. Her house looks worse than this one: the carpet cleaners came Monday and the painters came yesterday. It's easier to do those things with no furniture in the rooms, so I sat in a pile of stuff in the dining room. It did give me the chance to catch up on journaling and reading. There was also no food in the house to munch on.
The TV and the internet: I dare not look too closely at my hair - there's probably more gray in it. After the company shut off the services a week early, things were installed on Saturday. I realize I have been more dependent on both of them since I really can't get around much. But I was having withdrawals partly because the house was just too quiet and I can't get around outside much.
This morning, the TV went out on me AGAIN. I was able to get online and was a little perturbed at the emails that the company sent me. A couple thanked me for choosing this service. One stated that my email change went through. A couple gave me directions on how to return the equipment. One was the month's bill. It charged a late fee for the internet service and that was it. Another hour and a half on the phone with them. The person I talked to had no clue what was going on. She was supposed to transfer me to someone who could straighten out the bill for me and give me credit for the days I had no service. I got a technician who wanted me to read him serial numbers from all the boxes. Hard to do when I go around on my scooter! It took him a while to understand that the TV was back on at that point. And he still wants to call me back.
I guess it's fitting that Charlie Brown is on a bit this time of year. I can totally sympathize with him when Lucy pulls the football out from under him.
