Bay Bridge 10K

This was my final race for the year. I promised myself, when the course became challenging ,I wasn't going to allow any negative thoughts enter my mind. I was positive during the entire 6.2 miles. A few times I became frustrated, and had enough of the incline, but keep pushing forward. By the time, I reached the third mile I experienced onset dizziness. This continued to the end. I did stop several times to compose myself. Nearing the end I finally decided to have my blood pressure checked, and my lower number was elevated. I took in several deep breaths and finished, the last quarter mile and received my second Bay Bridge medal. I didn't set a new PR, this time, but there is always next year. I have 2 out 5 medals.
