Visiting my family in Georgia

Thursday, October 26, 2017

I have been visiting my daughter in Georgia to help her family out until the end of the school year. I had a surgery on my left shoulder two years ago just before Christmas. Then I was not allowed to do anything, and I ended up gaining weight back. Then I started having a problem with my breathing which I found out had nothing to do with my heart or lungs, so I have had to modify my exercise. I am back down to 136 which is good and I am visiting my daughter until the end of the school year. I am hoping to lose more. I am walking around their property when the weather is okay. Being in Georgia has been very different from being in the north on Lake Erie.

It has been six years since my husband passed away but it still seems like yesterday. And I lost my son to cancer two years ago in May. This last year I did a lot of drawings to paint but I still haven't done any painting and now it will have to wait until I get back home.

I have been on here doing a lot of reading but not posting and I decided I needed to do that again. So I'm back.

Welcome back and I'm so sorry to hear about the devastating losses of your loved ones and the health challenges you've faced.
It is so hard to keep up our healthy habits when life throws us these terrible curves and you seem to have batted through.
