Really Discouraged

Tuesday, October 24, 2017

On top of being in pain and not able to walk at all, I am retaining water, gaining weight and have a terrible rash that I am not sure what it is. I go to the doctor Thursday. I want to go but I don't want to. The cast on my foot feels like it's at least 5 pounds.

My beautiful grandbaby, Helena, is really out of sorts too. It's hard on her that we're moving and I haven't been able to play with her very much. Fun does seem to keep me upbeat.

Focus on the good stuff. Helena is the good stuff.
Hope your doctor's visit goes well.

Wow, it is one of those weeks. I am sorry. Please do go to the doctor as planned because you will, hopefully, receive some answers and encouragement. emoticon emoticon emoticon

I hope Helena is feeling better soon and that you are both well enough to spend some quality time, and share special moments of joy together.

I've been doing the weight gain and retaining water thing recently and it's a horrid feeling ... as is being restricted in what you can do. Where did you end up deciding to move to? And is the rash on your foot? (Wasn't sure if it was cast connected or not)

I broke my tibia back in November. It really takes time and perhaps physical therapy to get walking. I had some physical therapy. You will mend eventually. It's frustrating, but hang in there!

Glad you are scheduled to go to the doctor--perhaps he or she can help you feel better. In the meanwhile, best wishes to you for a better day.
