Well went to the doctor this past Friday and he said that he wanted to up my metformin by 500 mg to help get my numbers down even more. He was very pleased that I dropped my glucose by 100mg and take off 5 pounds. His exact words, "I'm very impressed with your numbers, good job! How did you do it?" I told him I cut 90% of all white stuff out of my diet, especially bread, that has a HUGE effect on my numbers, stop soda, pasta and doing more walking. He did state he did not like that they haven't came down enough after I showed him everything I was doing. He said that the numbers should be better, then I let him know some of my issues of people passing away and family drama and so on and he said that could be a contributing factor as to why they haven't gone down. He agreed my stress level is to high.So he up my meds in order to help and then in 6 weeks we will go over the medication for the fibromyalgia and go from there. He said because my last 2 months have been extremely stressful he would not like to start me on anything else until the metformin is in full effect because my symptoms may be all related to the diabetes and only triggered the fibromyalgia. So I am going to continue to keep working at my exercise and diet and just do the best that I can.
