Being able to do climbing rides/rolling hill intervals on a stationary bike at a higher resistance AND cadence (speed) because your legs are getting stronger. More often than not, the path to better health and fitness is rarely a straight one. So celebrate the victories in between. The scale (that I put away 3 months ago, BTW) may not be budging but I’m not really focused on that right now. I am focusing on keeping active, eating better and feeling stronger. Either way, I will take smaller clothes, a thinner face and my favorite ring sliding off my finger any day of the week.
