Week 41 Update

Sorry about the silence. Been very busy. My husband was away for two weeks (missed Thanksgiving) and it was busy getting him ready to go and then I had to look after my son and the animals and stuff. We went to my parents' for Thanksgiving, which was nice.
At counselling last week we talked about expectations. Weird how that's coming up again. I worked through this issue several years ago with some friends, how I have really high expectations of myself and beat myself up when I don't meet them. I got better about it but I guess it's gotten worse again. So we're going to work through that and get me some more tools to get into the mindset of "good enough" once more.
I went through my clothes and got rid of like half of them. I kept my maternity clothes (in case) and the smaller size stuff that I really truly love (all size 16-18 and X or 1X). I also packed away my summer clothes that fit right now, so I've just got what's appropriate for fall and winter in my closet and dresser. All of it is size 2X-3X or size 20. One thing I learned is that I own way more socks than I probably need, so I've decided I need to stop buying socks until I've worn out at least half of what I currently own.
I guess that's it for now. I didn't eat very well while my husband was away, so the next little while will be getting back to my regular diet before I start trying to make changes again. I'll keep you informed, naturally!
