Going Off the Rails On a Crazy Train ...

This weekend got a little messy. I'm a homebody, see, but this weekend I packed all my social activities for the month into one weekend. And when I'm out of my house, I am off my game. Off my diet. Off my sanity, apparently.
Eat a healthy breakfast, go volunteer all day ... and they had muffins which I ate just because they were there.
I ate a good healthy dinner and planned to go out and not eat or drink anything else. Had a brownie and cookie just because they were there.
Went apple picking. A nice, healthy activity! Except after the apple picking we went to two wineries and had a picnic and I had an apple cider doughnut plus tons of cheese and crackers and bread because by then I was super hungry and there weren't really any better options.
Concert at a new venue downtown. Great! But since everything is so new half the stuff isn't even open yet, so for dinner we waited 30+ minutes in line for a Shake Shack burger. Turns out the shroom burger is about 500 calories and I skipped the fries so at least there's that?
Also, I didn't have much water at all, which I can TOTALLY FEEL.
Ugh. Picking myself up, dusting myself off.
Making much better decisions today, but the fridge is running on empty so tonight I'll have to hit the store and do some cooking for the week. I'm planning at least two batches of applesauce, and part of one will be turned into apple pumpkin butter. Guess I better load up on protein and non-carby things to balance it out!
