Blog Challenge (Week 11): Thinspiration Picture Blog

For me, "Thinspiration" means a desire to be healthy, NOT a desire to be skinny.
This is me, when I started my quest for better health back in late January 2017. I weigh about 247 lbs.
Since then, I've lost 54 lbs and this is where I am today (October 15, 2017):
This is where I was in 2009, when I felt I was at my healthiest in decades. This level of fitness is the goal I'm striving for now.
I still have about 40 lbs. to go, but I've done it before, so I know I can do it again. I am inspired to be the best me I can be. At 59 years old, I don't aspire to be model thin or the same weight I was in high school, or even the same weight I was when I got married. I want to feel good and be able to move easily with a minimum of discomfort. I want to be as healthy as I can and live a long life.
That's what "Thinspires" me -- the me I was not so many years ago. Not some unknown, air-brushed, and impossible version of perfection.
To be that me, all I have to do is continue to fuel my body properly, move, and have some fun along the way.
