Breast cancer walk
Sunday, October 15, 2017
Yesterday I did a breast cancer walk. My mother and I and our neighbor and her daughter all walked it together. Our neighbor is a breast cancer survivor. The walk was a fundraiser put on by our local hospital to help breast cancer patients who can’t afford treatment. It was a nice day, and a lot of people came out and walked. Here is a picture of the fountain they dyed pink in honor of the walk.
Breast cancer affects a lot of women in the world.
Early detection is very important. Every woman needs to do self-exams, have regular doctor’s check-ups, and have regular mammograms.
Take care of your health!
