Can't screwup now

Thursday, October 05, 2017

Got volunteered for THREE things at my Mom's funeral Mass (I still think my old man deserved one TOO at the time). One reading, the prayer of the faithful and bringing up the offertory,. While trying to keep it "together " in front of family.

You don't have to be brave. I fell apart and it's okay. People understand. Sending hugs and prayers.

Can you stand up for yourself and say. "I can't!"
My mom just passed in December. I feel for you. So hard! I was able to speak for my mom's, but that's because it was a relaxed atmosphere, and my mom had a sense of humor that was fun to talk about.
My DAD just passed in JUNE! Because he was cremated, we didn't have the usual funeral cards. My aunt had said that we needed MORE this time, because we ran out at my mom's funeral. So I went through all kinds of trouble creating funeral cards and having them printed up.....after all that? I was left with 90% of them! UGH! All that money and time invested.

Sometimes, it's worth saying, NO. And because YOU are the griever, everyone ELSE will have to understand.
I hope things go okay for you.
My uncle died yesterday morning, so HIS family members are probably going through the same things you are!
    Deep breath.

    Be blessed. Hugs!
