good morning! didn't post yesterday because rob was working from home and had the puter tied up all day. we got a storage shed in a box from Costco and it was delivered yesterday--I like to have him home when truck freight shipments come in. as it was the driver was very nice and helped him unload the boxes (technically they only have to get it on to the lift gate and down to the ground). later we went out and used the tractor to muscle the boxes up on a pallet and cover them. chances are the actual work on that won't happen until next spring. we have to pour an 8 x 15 slab first. we got it now because it was on sale for about 400 dollars off and the truck freight was free.
got 4 baskets of greenware hauled down to the kiln--going to start a bisque load today. I want to get all of this stuff bisque and then start firing all the glazed pieces I have done. got a lot accomplished in the two weeks I spent glazing--and hopefully learned some things. the proof will come in the firing. I have a lot of clay wedged and ready to throw now--apple bakers are first up, then brie bakers, and then maybe a new thing I found in one of my magazines--a microwave popcorn popper! its very cute and not too complicated. fingers crossed it works out well.
have a lovely day!
