My Permanent Toddlers

Tuesday, October 03, 2017

My dogs are laying around the house sleeping. I turn on a Leslie Sansone DVD and start marching in place. Suddenly they want to play fetch. They are persistent too. I have to pay attention to where I am stepping so I don't step on their toys. They finally leave me alone when it is time for the cool down. They remind me so much of my daughter when she was two. She didn't need my attention until I was on the phone or doing something important. At least with her, she outgrew this stage; I'm pretty sure the dogs won't.

I love Leslie! Going to do a workout now and then hoping to walk the dog after, we will see how that goes with this cold. My dog stays his distance- I am a bit of a klutz, and he doesn't want to get stepped on! Welcome to Conservative Christian Women!

I love working out is Leslie. I am blessed with a pooch also that loves to be around me everywhere I go, but she is old enough that she is satisfied to just lie down in the middle of the room where I work out. But I do have to tell her to move out of the way, almost every time when I start, which she does. So there is hope for aging pups. emoticon emoticon

Sounds like our 13 year old Riley. The phone rings and she has to be near you, on your lap, staring into your eyes trying to say that she is the center of attention. Haha!

So cute, you have workout buddies! I'm sure it's got to get aggravating too, though!

So cute. I remember my dog, that passed away, always ran and played when I started exercising. I guess he thought I was playing. lol

I put them outside sometimes, but our winters are too cold. I should have done that today, but it's been so long since I've done this I didn't think about it. Sometimes I lock them in their kennels, depending on which workout I do.

Can you put them out or in a different room. My dog loves to lay where I need to walk if I am walking indoors
